Design Blocks

This page showcases WordPress core design and layout blocks as rendered by Axismundi: buttons, columns, groups, rows, stacks, cards, accordions, separators, spacers, and content-flow markers.

These blocks shape the structure and visual rhythm of a page. Plain layout blocks remain neutral composition primitives, while opt-in styles add Material-inspired surfaces and controls.

Buttons

Button styles cover primary actions, secondary actions, tonal surfaces, elevated actions, text actions, and custom widths.

Connected Buttons

Connected button groups combine related actions into a segmented control-like surface.

Theme Switcher

The Axismundi Theme Switcher plugin can appear as a segmented control or as a compact cycle button.

Columns

Columns organize content horizontally on wider screens and stack on narrow screens.

Column one uses the default equal-width layout.

Column two checks the inter-column gap and responsive stacking behavior.

Column three completes the row.

Groups and Cards

A constrained group acts as a neutral layout container. Card variations are opt-in surfaces for Group and Column blocks.

Plain constrained group

This group has no card chrome. It simply constrains content and participates in layout composition.

Filled group card

A filled card uses a stronger surface color while keeping elevation quiet.

Elevated column card

Elevated cards separate repeated items from the page surface.

Filled column card

Columns can become card items while the parent Columns block remains the deck.

Outlined column card

Outlined cards use a border instead of elevation.

Row

A Row is a horizontal flex layout for compact inline groups.

Stack

A Stack is a vertical flex layout for grouped content.

Accordion

Accordion blocks disclose additional content while keeping the page compact.

Panel one content for the first accordion item.

Panel two content for the second accordion item.

Separator and Spacer

Separators divide sections. Spacers add explicit vertical rhythm when a layout needs extra breathing room.
