    @annette @activitypub.blog @simon Meinst du vielleicht die Extra Fields? Da kannst du, ähnlich wie bei Mastodon extra Informationen wie links oder anderes hinzufügen. Die BIO unterstützt aber auch HTML, da kannst du die Links auch jetzt schon rein packen.

    @wjmaggos yes, you can enable it on any WordPress.com plans, even the free ones. We are also heavily working on bringing a better reader experience to WordPress, but this might take some more weeks/month.

    @strypey no problem ☺️

    Happy to help whenever I can!

    Integrating a federation protocol into blogging software isn’t always easy, so there may be some glitches or compromises along the way. I appreciate any feedback that helps improve the integration… including challenging questions! 😉

    @strypey if you have enabled mails notifications in general, you can then customize what notifications you would like based on the object type. You can for example keep the comment notifications and disable the like notifications.

    @strypey it depends on how you set up your WordPress. When you have enabled email notifications for new comments, you will get a mail for every new reply, like, boost, …

    The plugin tries to integrate as best as possible into WordPress and adapts the core behavior when possible.

  10. @pfefferle@mastodon.social

    Our second book with Rheinwerk Verlag is coming out these days. In the revised and significantly updated “WordPress 7 – Das umfassende Handbuch”, Flo Brinkmann and I once again turn our attention, as we did with last year’s edition, to a comprehensive guide to the popular content management system. And yes, it's still "just" in German, sorry. More chapters, but…
